The client approached eco-Kinetics after a recommendation from a previous commercial client, initially requesting a design solution for a 10kWp system to be installed above their company office. Working with the client’s structural engineer, we provided a light weight, low ballast solution which reduced the potential loading to the existing roof structure. After being installed for only a few weeks, the client approached us again requesting a proposal for a further 40kWp to be installed to their warehouse. Impressed with the returns and savings achieved, the client also instructed us to install a 3.68kWp system at his family
home.
The complete system comprises of 173.no 230W Polycrystalline modules mounted to a low ballast, pitched 15deg, flat roof mounting system. The system was connected to the client’s existing electrical infrastructure via a new 3-phase distribution board. An SMA Webbox was fitted which relays data via a GSM mobile connection to the client and our O&M team, enabling us to monitor the system, ensuring that maximum performance is achieved at all times.
