After seeing the benefits achieved at his farm, the client requested a proposal for their local cricket club. The system comprising of 43.no 230W modules is mounted to a pan-tile mounting system.

The system is served by an SMA 10000TL three-phase inverter which was connected to the existing electrical system a new isolator switch. An SMA Webbox was fitted which relays data via a GSM mobile connection to the client and our O&M team, enabling us to monitor the system, ensuring that maximum performance is achieved at all times. This was important as the site is unoccupied for most of the time with no one available to check that the system was operating efficiently.

The system will save 4.5 Tonnes of carbon emissions annually and help reduce the energy costs of the cricket club, the main use of the generated electricity is heating the hot water cylinders.
